1. Martin & Judy Bourke's Beginner Rider Working Horse Challenge

Judge: Julie Peadon

Entry: $20.00

Prizes to 3rd place. Prize pool $200

Patterns: WP1 and TTP4 (ASHS Pattern Book June 2022)

This Beginner Rider Working Horse Challenge is open to riders who have not previously placed in similar challenge events. Their horse can be any level, even a very experienced horse.

2. Bermi Beachside Cafe's Novice Working Horse Challenge

Judge: Mick Otton & Chrissy French

Entry: $30.00

Prizes: 

  • Prizes to 5th place

  • Prize pool $700

  • Best Novice Junior Rider (16 years and under) - 1st Sash

Patterns: WP1 & WP6 Time Trial TTP4 (ASHS Pattern Book June 2022)

 

The Novice Working Horse Challenge is open to any rider (no matter how experienced), who is riding a horse that has not won in a similar challenge event previously.  For example, someone who is a regular competitor who may have won classes who is riding a young or inexperienced horse is eligible to compete in this event as well as a newcomer rider. But all horses in this event must be inexperienced.

3. South East Veterinary Services Open Working Horse Challenge

Judges: John and Barbara Lee

Entry: $50.00

Prizes:

Prizes to 5th place

Prize pool: $1000

Open Working Patterns WP8 & WP12 Time Trial TTP4 (ASHS Pattern Book June 2022)

The Open Working Horse Challenge is open to any horse and rider.
