What

Our Show Cattle is an event where livestock are exhibited and judged on certain traits. Our Show Cattle are judged on the Friday and Saturday of the Show.

Some of the duties include:

• Ring Pencilling/Time Keeping – Our pencillers assist the judge to marshal competitors, document place getters details, distribute ribbons, collect indemnity forms and cattle health declaration forms.

 

Who

If you are able-bodied and able to stand on your feet and walk across some uneven, grassy areas and are confident and comfortable around cattle, you are encouraged to assist. If you do not have experience, but are willing to learn and able to read and write, we can teach you the ropes!

 

When

Friday - 8:00am to 3:00pm

Saturday - 8:00am to 3:00pm
