What

Our Horse events are exhibited and judged on certain traits. Our Show Cattle are judged on the Friday and Saturday of the Show.

Duties:

• Ring Masters Office Admin – Our admin assistants answer questions, take entries for novelty events, administer indemnity forms, take camping fees, use POS machines.

• Ring Pencilling/Time Keeping – Our pencillers assist the judge to document place getters details, distribute ribbons etc. Pencillers are required in the hack and show jumping rings.

• Showjumping Ring Assistants – Our ring assistants pick up rails, assist course builders to move jumps, operate the gate and marshal competitors.

• Ring Assistants – Some horse events require novelty implements to be set-up and packed down.

Who

If you are able-bodied and able to stand on your feet and walk across some uneven, grassy areas and are confident and comfortable around horses, you are encouraged to assist. If you do not have experience, but are willing to learn and able to read and write, we can teach you the ropes!
