Construction Team

What

The Construction team is responsible for setting up the site and creating the environment and atmosphere for the Show. Duties vary, so there’s something for everyone. The team will unpack sheds, sort supplies, and distribute equipment as required. This team is also responsible for setting up key areas such as the construction of fences, walls, shelving, animal cages, venues, show rings and entertainment props. You’ll also be distributing equipment and supporting other teams in all respects to ensure the Show is ready to commence.

On completion, you’ll assist with breaking down the site and packing it up to prepare for the next Show.

Who

If you have initiative and can take a hands-on role, we welcome you. The team encompasses many roles, so there’s always something to do! Most volunteers for this team have a reasonable level of fitness. However, the our team welcomes diversity and can find jobs for most applicants.

When

This team operates for the weeks leading up to the Show with most work required from Saturday the week before until Friday.

Pack up is required on Monday from 8:00am until approximately 3:00pm.
